    Anybody have any opinions on a good stable php cms system(gpl) to use as a starting platform for me to modify?

    Have tried portail and it seems ok but its in french and makes the code comments a bit hard. And have tried Endonesia but it seems a bit buggy. Am about to try php website but it would really help if somebody could reccomend something stable and in english to save me trying every one.

    My host includes phpwebsite in the hosting packages and I've been satisfied with its results.
