Ok, here in lies what i need!

Im in the process of gettin my site up for my e-biz due out in 2008, doing the research and the ground work as we speak. For my customers which will be factory owners, I will have vital sales information on their product which i will enter and analyze in a data base or any suggestion how to do this iwill be good too, So first, i want to know how can i add a feature to the website where company owners, sales reps, and customers will get a unique password to see their sales, then get directed to the area where there's is a search criteria where they can search sales by Customer or customers, by brand, by region, by store, also have the option to compare one or more stores, regions, brands and items to each other.

    Let me know anyone?

there are plenty of CRM tools out there, some are free athers are expensive

something like Sugar may work for you to some extent.

if you have the data in a database it is no problem to use it on the site.

    so...

do you have a database with the sales info
how is that data input in the database
are the users inputing their own sales data
if you have a database, what are you using, SQL, MySQL, Access, Oracle etc

Wow, this helps alot, the jury is still out on what data base I want to use, I thinking between Access and Oracle, MySQL, seem to be the standard for regular users. I will be the one entering all the data, and i want to also include Flash, and Flash animation to graph information to be displayed, any suggestions on this as well?

what are you using to build your site, that will determione which db to use

are you using a cms based on MS products such as dotnetnuke?
you would use access or sql

    or

are you using a CMS based on the lamp stack, you would use sql or most likely MySql

if you are not experienced MySql (lamp) is simpliest

you should use a cms system, it will make things nuch easier for you
