Hi,

Does anyone know of a support forum for Hyperseek ds/X specific to this software?

Just that I am having some problems with configuration as the documentation is incomplete and JJS charge now for support apparently. One issue is on this thread >> [link] << where the DESC_ICON does not call the image from either XML or member derived data.

New one today is the email format, I created a welcome email in the "approved" template but when received (plain text) all the paragraphs etc have been removed and one big blob of text is in the email body, which is difficult to read and looks awful.

If anyone could assist it would be greatly appreciated.

Dave...

Hi Dave,
I answered your first question in the Link you provided, but here it is again:

We ran into this same problem. I think the manual is actually wrong.

Instead of using <<DESC_ICON>>, you need to use <<SITE_ICON>>

As soon as we switched to this, the image worked. Be sure you are using the correct input under languages: Languages > Table/Form Prompts > hyperseek_temp_addurl > Site Icon

Unfortunatly, we haven't been able to figure out a way to size the image. Any idea's on that?

Regarding your second question, I think the email templates are only set up to be plain text, I don't believe you can use HTML in them and have them show up properly. All of ours are typed out in plain text and they show up perfectly in emails.
