um
out of the six or so sites that i had 4 have returned
one went from 1 , reappeared at 26 for its target phrase I made no changes
another went from 1 , reappered at 16 , sometimes at 80 took key words out of 100 or so inbound links
another went from number 1 , reappered at number 1 made no changes at all
another went from 2 to 193 made no changes at all
2 others went from 1 & 5 to nothing and are still at nothing now
one of those I took off all the out going links, but once i saw the one that came back at number 1 with no changes made ,i put them back
I don't really see any logical pattern in the ones that returned, although my most prized 'flash design' spot is one of the ones that hasn't, also a vacation rental term is still, pretty much filled with state and national directories
the ones that have returned are not big league terms, but I'm not really a big SEO person.
in some of the seaches out of the first 100 results there are only 5-10 non directory sites

I am starting to think that no wabmaster can rely on google for anything really. Seems very unstable an unpromising to me. Think i wasted enough time and effort trying to get my sites stable on google. Unless you are a large company with many webmasters working together towards secure placing with (PR/back links ect...) The old "small fish in a big pond" applies here i believe. Maybe i am wrong, but the only way to stabalize on google is to spend all you time driving to get at least 500 good PR backlinks, which is very difficult!
