I wasn't able to find any other news source carrying this story, so I am not sure if it's accurate or just too new.
"He claims that on March 25, 2003 he was told by friends and family that typing "Mark Maughan" into a Google search engine delivered "alarming, false, misleading and injurious results" about him and the business "
The best part of the whole thing is what he is asking for
"Girardi wants a court order to prevent Google from using PageRank. He said members of a class action could include anyone also allegedly libeled by the search engine."
Guess some people have more time then brains on their hands.

I remember when SearhKing was sueing google for dropping searchking's homepage PR down, somebody said "Any publicity is good publicity"
I think that phrase sums this up quite well.
"He said members of a class action could include anyone also allegedly libeled by the search engine."
What about the guy on the end of the 'talentless hack' google bomb, will he particpate?
