If you ahve multiple domains pointed to one site, do you run the risk of being seen as spam by the search engines? Sorry if stupid question, but I am curious to this. Thanks

It all depends on how you do it.
What do you mean by pointing?? redirect or a link that goes to that site?

Thanks for the reply. A url that points to the page, so it takes you to the site and the URL stays there, so not a redirect.

I still don't know what you mean...by pointing. Do you mean a link?

If you are talking straight text links, you should be fine. If they are all redirects then BAD.

Google doesn´t like too many different domains pointing to the same Site. Take it easy man.

I have a couple hundred domains point to a site, I had 50 thousand returns when looking for that site specifally on google.
I 301ed almost all of them, and finally started setting up the about 30 of the domains for their intention (same site, different topics) - did that probably six months ago.
Before I did, I was not returned anywhere in any normal search, I had enough pages that I was still getting decent traffic from the off the well indepth type searches, but nothing for simple one or two keywords - still not doing great, but have actually gone up to number one on a few, and findable on others - and before I 301ed, I was slowly going backwords in total pages indexed, probably was under 20k when I 301ed - now, I am up to over 100k
