HI
Why does my site rank (NO1)high when the use of parantheses is used to search, and when parantheses are not used I am site is not found in most cases. This baffles me. How can I fix this problem?

First off, welcome to the forums Carmen. smile

Next up - when you search using parenthesis, you are, in effect, telling the search engine to match your search exactly - so your domain should show up for this near the top in most cases.

Searching otherwise tells the engine to "find me the best results for this stuff".

In the end, if you want to rank better, you'll need to optimize the website - in which case, you're in the right place to learn more about how to accomplish that. wink

PS - you might want to update your profile to include your domain in there. wink

Thankyou SportsGuy.
I have learnt so much in just one day, or has it been two so much to learn, so much to do so little time.
I submitted to Blog directories. I hope I am on right track. I hope I did it right.
I will be back for more.
