How is this possible, all my site, products, section the lot rank really well on Yahoo amd MSN but Google only likes my front page (Page rank of 4) and top six (UK) for our main keyword "tights"
Is it my url structure, as I've been changing keyword density in title description body etc for the past 3 years with no luck.
Even our affiliates show ok on google with our products.
I'm really at my wits end, any advice please.

If the others are OK, but Google has doubts, odds on favourite is that your linking practice has let you down.
Remove non-related reciprocals, remove ALL links to ropey sites, and take it from there.
Or ask for a site review in the forum for site reviews

-->The constant change in the content does make a difference, but how frequently are you doing it?

I'm adding new content, by way of min 4 new products a week.
I check my product and section positions and make changes every few weeks, I can normally see a change after a week.
Really not sure why they hate my sections and products.

You rank #1 for UK tights so that is good.
I noticed that most of your links come from directories. If you have paid for a majority of links those may have been discounted.
I think you have too much text on your home page which waters down your main keywords, i.e, new arrivals, favorites, best sellers. Also I would move "located in ....", "our mission is....." to other pages and just briefly describe what your site offers using major keywords but put that near the top of your page. I would add a few more images with links to product pages too.
Also have you ever tried searching for your site with safe surf on? Some of the words, like "bare, sheer", and the "skinless caffeine" image on home page and other images like Loba shapewear are more attuned to an adult site. If your rank differs with it on vs off then that could be part of the problem.
Also unless your host is in the US you are not likely to rank well in the US.

Hi many thanks, I have actually just cut down the amount of text on the front page and increased my keyword density slightly so I'm waiting to see what happens, what is a good keyword density?
The directories where free so hoping they are ok.
Its not really my front page that I'm worried about I rank 4th for tights in the UK so that's fine by me though would like to be 3rd.
The problem is 1 or 2 sections and 1 or 2 products rank ok then the other products and sections are no where, yet our affiliates eg msn shopping using some of our text, images etc rank well??????

long post... but be sure to read it..
okay.. what you're getting is easily done with an e-commerce site which follow a certain product structure. It can happen to lot of e-commerce sites and i've been struggling with one clients site for over a year to fix it, with little success.
There are two main possibilities why it happens which may be applicable to you.
Lets take the term 'ladies tights ' as an example.
1) Google CAN return your home page, even when the page it matches for ladies tights is elsewhere on your site. Ie your actual page which matched ladies tights best may occur on the category page, BUT if google find ANY combination of that term on the homepage, it will return that instead.
Look at the cache of your index page, chanes are it will contain at least one reference to 'ladies' along with numerous 'tights' mentions. Thats all google needs to place your home page above your category page which it has already matched the term to, even if that category page has far better optimising and density for that term.
Dont ask me why it does this, as its incredibly annoying, but i can assure you (despite what others may say) that it DOES happen. Even a single alt tag containing the 'ladies' term can cause google to return the index page, even though your category page is the one that has done all the work.
Annoying yes, crazy yes, but were stuck with it. I'm currently ranked number 1 on google for several very competitive terms on the site i mentioned earlier, the home page being returned for all of them. Yet, in some instances the home page may contain only ONE reference to the term.
2) category pages and product pages in e-commerce site contain inherently duplicated copies, caused by 'rearrange by price' options etc etc, and unless stringent blocks are put in place these duplicated pages may not be returned in the serps for obvious reasons, and may actually penalise your original page.
What can you do? For point 1 theres not a lot you can do, and its incredibly difficult to get round. The ONLY way i've found is to remove all category terms from your home page, meaning only your category pages will utilise that term, and ergo be returned instead of your home page. However, this isnt practical or in some cases even possible, but i've done it once or twice and it gets the results you want.
For point 2, get your web developer to block all wildcards which are contained in the alternate URL versions of your category pages in the robots.txt file. Normally this is seens as www.mytights.com/ladies-tights/sortby_p.html etc etc . Looking at your site i dont think this happens very much , if it all, but double check to make sure.
I am absolutely positive it will be point 1 that is causing the problems you see. I have found no way round other than what i mentioned earlier (ie home page removal of terms), but if you find anything please let me know.
Oh, and getting good IBL's to the deeper categories pages doesnt seem to make any difference whatsoever.
