Hi Folks ... strange things are happening to my site. Over the last 12 months I have consistently added quality content (new pages focused on providing relevant info to our customers) quality links (from related, credible sites) and have been rewarded with seeing our top 20 search terms all reach the top of the SERP's (well, top 5 places).
3 weeks ago, our 2 biggest search phrases started returning in positions 11-14 instead of 3-6 where they had been consistently for the last 3 months.
I also notice that some of the smaller competitors with what I can see are 'lesser' sites (for want of a better word, no disrespect meant) even sites with links from 'banned' directories etc, are coming and going into the top 10.
Normally this wouldn't worry me too much, however this is now entering the fourth week and the baffling thing is ... the other 18 phrases have actually improved in the SERP's.
Any ideas or hypothesis' from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
[changes title ... obviously first one was a bad choice]
