    I noticed that it is better to have www.mywebsite.com/keyword/ instead of www.mywebsite.com/keyword.php.
    Is it possible?

    It depends on the way you have grouped your pages. For example if you have organized some thing like this below:
    /hardddisks/500GBdisks.php
    /harddisks/1TBdisks.php
    /harddisks/5TBdisks.php

    Then it stands to reason that you have more related topics pages grouped under each directory.
