Google's SEO Starter Guide

Another step closer to the world without 'Can't we just put more keywords here, there and here???...keyword density...waaaaaaaaa!!!!' smile

It's nothing new to the industry, but this is a very nice supplemental material to convey the right message to the clients and/or executives...especially those who have been tainted and confused by misleading/myth-driven information.

You do get 'self-promo' taste especially in relation to Sitemap, WMT, GA, etc...at least they are pretty darn good products for FREE smile

I couldn't help notice their take on URL rewrite in the Guide...especially after the recent post made by Google that carried questionable tone against URL rewrite :P

There also is SERP conversion factor of URL rewrite...although I would say that it's case by case...based on business requirements and cost/benefit of implementation resources aka IS/IT time, it's not for every business.
