Hi
i have a site with a huge number of pages which uses pure html with
font tags etc. Their structure and matter is not uniform, but i plan to extract its body contents and migrate.
i plan to migrate the whole thing into (x)html/css and i am looking for
some automated tool for this
i used tidy, but tidy makes inline css for everypage and i want a
single external css file.
Also im looking if there is any good but simple content management solution for
this
Anyone who has done similar migration might be of help
thanks

I don't know offhand of any tools that will help you to manage all of this, but you can try http://www.hotscripts.com for the 'content management' aspect of things. There are tons of scripts there, just pick which kind you want to use (.php, perl whatever). The only downnside is that there really isn't a very good way to search through all of the scripts so sometimes it might take a bit of work to find what you're looking for.
