I am a very very lazy man. [snip]
I tried Dave Raggett's HTML Tidy, but for some reason it doesn't work on my computer. Being the lazy man that I am I would like to do find a nice little programme to do most of the hard work for me.
I used to have a programme which did this (so I know they exist) but I can't find any, does anyone have any suggestions?
[remember, we're a family friendly site.]

Webmaster Toolkit has some cleaners:

It runs online page by page, be sure to keep a backup copy of the original just in case.

Thanks crash, I tried his Dreamweaver cleaning tool, and it managed to save a couple of thousand bytes, but only by removing the templates. Which due to the size of the sites I need.
I guess even in the modern age you still have to do some things by hand

Other than templates what does it remove. I through one of my pages in there and it was going to remove 646bytes
