Are you talking about domain name renewal?

If you are talking about renewing your domain, the registrar would send you an email alerting you to the fact - assuming that you have registered the domain under your name and with a valid email id. Many users forget the email id under which they registered and when it comes to renewal or changing the DNS, they face serious problems.

Without a proper technical/administrative contact handle, it will be difficult to regain control over your own domains.
