    Hi, all
Quick question here about WebTrends. In analyzing a client's traffic for last month, I noticed that there appears to be absolutely NO (or virtually no) traffic to the site through search engines whatsoever for the first 12 days of the month. This is highly unusual, particularly when you consider the ratios of other traffic to the site all appear to be normal. Since I don't believe that no traffic came through SEs for nearly half the month, I'm thinking it has something to do with WebTrends itself.
Is it possible that the mechanism that tracks Search Engine traffic in WebTrends was disabled for part of the month? Does any of you have insight to this?

One other curious thing about the data for the month is that for 4 days (the last 4 days of the non-activity from SEs, actually), there was absolutely no traffic at all - from all avenues, not just search engines. After that, everything (including activity through SEs) returned to completly normal levels. My guess is that 1) either WebTrends reporting was completely disabled for those 4 days, or 2) the site was down (although I don't believe it was).

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

You'll have to research this further. Are you using the version that uses the site's log files? If so, then it's possible that the site was up and running, but it's not looking at the log files for those particular days.
