The Gazette has just been sent (watch for yours to arrive today) and changes have just been launched here at JimWorld. Thought I'd make a quick post to let you guys know what's going on.
You can read the full report on the changes at the forums here.
To give a brief summary... We've eliminated Moderators from the forums and introduced a revolutionary new idea called JimGuides. These guides will be here not to edit you and keep your posts in line, but simply to help you with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.
The guides have been hand selected and recruited from our current moderating team, current members, and recognized experts from around the Web. We've picked them because:
1.) They are a known expert in their field and bring an amazing level of knowledge and experience to their assigned topic.
2.) They have an uncanny ability to explain concepts and ideas to our members in a way that is easy to understand.
3.) They are conversation sparkers. They breathe life into their forums by offering opinions, ideas and perspectives that are unique.
We welcome your feedback on the idea in our Gazette Feedback forum. I've already started a thread for you to share your thoughts in. Please post to it by following this link.
