If you haven't read your JimWorld Gazette yet, you should. John confirmed what member "dax" said to me about a month ago regarding SpamArrest and them spamming the people who confirm their addresses as legitimate.

I tried their service too. It did work though I wasn't particularly crazy about my mail being loaded up to another server from mine. Their service was cancelled about 2 weeks ago since they didn't exactly fit what I needed. Now that John has reported his confirmed findings, I'm glad I removed SpamArrest from servicing my email account.

If you've used SpamArrest to clean your email, you may want to change your user password to your email box too. They could theoretically hold onto that information even if you've cancelled your account. It's a safety precaution to ensure that they don't comb through your email after you've cancelled them.

You'll enjoy this tidbit:
quoted from: toyz.org/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi?SpamArrestIsASpammer

However their published privacy policy ( http://spamarrest.com/privacy.jsp ) still says that they have the right to send email to any email address they receive from any source (including their sender verification process). It even says they can sell those email addresses if they wish. They also say they can keep all email messages forever, even after you close your account.
Seems this would contribute to more spam keeping SpamArrest in business for years to come.
