It hits you like a bang in the head. No matter how many times you've been sick - the minute you realize you've got a cold its "NOOO" - anyone else feeling bad?

I feel your pain my friend. Several weeks ago I got a *cold* which was actually a sinus/chest infection and because I refused to go to the doctor it dragged out for weeeeeekkkkssss it was horrible. Last friday I finally got meds and it was 90% better by sunday.. now I'm actually starting to feel human again.

I had a couple of good hours sleep - worked a little - then had tea & toasts. There are actually some good parts in being sick, you eat things that you usually don't do, however Echinacea have not passed my way yetsmile.

I'm feeling GREAT! I just had an AWESOME 3-day weekend at my folks cabin on a lake. Canoe rides, hiking, dinner in front of the woodstove. Quiet, no TV, no computers, full-blown foliage at its peak...

Life is good. smile

Woo hoo! I'm with Winning... I ache all over from all that hiking, but I feel great after a couple of days in the woods.

I love fall...love it love it love it. Now if only I had less client work right now and could get outside to work in my garden and get some bulbs planted. wink

Feel better Lennart...being sick is never fun. sad

I didn't get a 3-day weekend. sad

Even though I homeschool my kis I try to keep to the normal school schedule so they get the same days off as the rest of the neighborhood. Apparently Columbus day is not a school holiday in NV. But we get "Nevada Day" later this month. Whooo-Hoooo. Gonna go play me some slots.

or maybe just work.

Nevada Day? LOL.

Heck, I LIVE in Columbus wink and neither Greg nor I got the day off. Only government workers get it off around here...
