"Just" entering the forums as so many times before to check in what's going on! I just realized that it feels like we're finally back to the status it was before Jim got ill.
With this I mean that we're finally back on track which means the future is looking so bright. The big difference between JimWorld 2004 and JimWorld 2000 is that today it feels like the foundation is so much more stable.
In my view this stabile foundation of JimWorld today is a combination of excellent staffing as well as technical progress.
I salute everybody in this community for doing a fantastic job. Special thoughts go to Jim Wilson's family.

Jim would be proud of the continuation of his vision - I am sure.
Some of our newer members may not know the history of our founder.
Jim passed away on May 6, 2003 - almost 1 year ago, and you can read some of the history and memorials here.

I could care less if it's the biggest. I'd just like to see it to the point where our members consistantly feel its one of the best.

Well, if you are just dying to throw money to us We do offer Premium Memberships. Though they have more to do with extra features than the forums themselves. (Which will remain free and open to all.)
The Premium Membership covers membership in the Marketplace, use of the ROI tool, Spotlight ad placement and some other features.

.... and if that doesn't work for you, there is always jim's old time favorite of making repayment by helping out others by answering questions you know in return for the help you have received here.

Mine too, as I'm a poor people. Every now and then I think about Jimsworld and the fact that his vision is still being carried on.
Apparently Jim was a great judge of people, because if it wasn't so, his vision would not have lasted this long without him.

That's because John Cokos and the other admins and moderators have a very similar vision. Like minds make these things happen. Hope it doesn't stop.
