I'll start.

Hampstead

Schoolboy nickname. Kevin (Hampstead) Heath. Hampstead Heath being an area of parkland in London. Some more literary minded friends modified it to Blasted later in life, but Hampstead has stuck.

It's nothing to do with being gay BTW smile

FYI - Hampstead Heath is notorious for cottaging.

If you don't know what that means, think George Michael and hid misdemeanour in Beverley Hills.

Oh dear it's degenerated a bit too far.

I wish I never stated this now.

OK - let's keep this one topic AND clean folks... Anything too far afield and I may get creative with the edit functions. wink

SportsGuy - I used to work at a sports content publisher when I first joined. Seems to have been easy to find at most places online, too, so I stuck with it.

The explanation of my web name is simple. When I decided to incorporate my company, my two daughters were given the task of naming the corporation, and they came up with Tigetek Associates Incorporated, hence Tigetek. The word Tigetek represents to lines of thought, with my oldest daughter having priority due to age, she thought the name of our ski boat, Tige, was a good start, and my younger daughter felt that since we worked primarily with the Technical companies at that time of growth, that tek should be the completion of the the word again hence Tigetek. We actually do business under several names, but they have nothing to do with the webname of tigetek. Ok, there you go, you know about the Bj and his name.

Mine's just my own company name compressed which is composed of a few letters from my original partner's last name (who started with IBM in 1956 and retired from Boeing as a Senior Systems Program analyst prior to the millennium), a few from mine plus a 'micro' suffix. Nothing particularly special or exciting about it.
