I am hopeful that MSN is good to everyone. Before they made the switch I was number 4 for a competitive search term. Now I am not in the top 100.
Could image alt tags effect this? I took them out a week ago from my index page because I read on the forum that it could help you on Google to resurface if you are in the sandbox ( a term they use at Google when you are a website under 5 years old).
Please let me know if I should put the image alt tags back in. I already see tons of other pages doing it that are high page rank. They are doing it grossly though. Pure Spam.
Thanks,
Don

Spam alt tags and you can probably forget google success. Since it's such an easy thing to catch, I'd assume msn beta is also checking that. If you took that out only a week ago, you're a little late I'd say, msn bot has been indexing the web for at least 6 months now, maybe more.
It's not high PR, it's high serp position that counts. If you see a site that is spamming their alt tags high in the google serps just drop google an email and let them know.

Okay, will do.
However, my index page is no where. My secondary pages are there, however, with the same domain. Will it show up soon?
--Thanks
