One of my websites is an affilaite website that does fairly well. I was wondering if creating a RSS feed would provide any benefit or if it would be a waste of time. There is no shopping cart, just a trackable url where the Add To Cart button would be.

If you know anything about RSS feeds any feedback you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I seeing sites ad this to their content everywhere.

askjoe, I'm an affiliate management consultant and know quite a bit about feeds. Are you asking about pulling other sites feed into your site as a way to add content or offering a feed to your visitors?

Unless you have already produced or you plan to produce lots of unique and valuable content that you regularly updatethen you have no basis for providing any sort of feed.

    ---

Using feeds is an entirely different story. AAnd having news, weather, or other valuable content on your site fed to you from other sources is a fantastic way to attract and retain visitors.

Now you just need to think about what sort of content you are going to use and how best you are going to integrate it.

I want to know whether RSS feed can help the affiliate program or not.
For example if I run contextual program, can RSS feed help my network?
