Hi,
I have a relatively new site, just under 240 pages and I have been working to get listed in the search engines. As of this morning my listings with the biggies are:
Google 231 pages
Alta Vista 76 pages
MSN 203 pages
AOL 231 pages
Yahoo 93 pages
Lycos 0 pages
HotBot 0 pages
All The Web 78 pages
What can I do to get listed in Lycos and Hot Bot? I have lots of back links from sites that are indexed but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Also is there anything I can do to speed up my listing in Yahoo, Alta Vista and All the Web?
Thanks, Louise

Lycos and Hotbot are very slow at indexing. It just takes time.
Altavista and All the Web are really Yahoo!, so if you're listed in Yahoo! you'll eventually show up in those search engines as well. The AOL results are from Google.
To help you figure all this out, you might want to take a look at the Search Engine Relationship chart.

you can check out if your site is listed in ((URL REMOVED)), because it gives more relevant searches and would lead to a targeted audience

((URL REMOVED)) has a page rank of '0'?
