I have heard that Bizrate has relentless sales pitches when someone takes one of the surveys after purchasing from a merchant (in order to give merchants a rating). It is to the point where customers would call in and complain to the company they purchased the products from asking why they were trying to upsell them on completely unrelated products and services, not realizing it was Bizrate distributing the survey. I want to implement this on my site becasue of the "reputation" and ranking benefits on bizrate but I'm concerned with this aspect of it.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this problem or experienced it first hand?
