Hi

im new to SEO and have been reading up on SEO for a while i have a few questions i hope someone can give me some clear answers to.

im a UK based company
i have a set up a OScommerce application.
i have two registered domain names for example funkymunky.co.uk and funkymunky.com

the .com is the primary domain name and the .co.uk is the a pointer.
the online shop displays the .com site when a person types in funkymunky.co.uk

Q1.If the primary domain name is .com will this hinder my website being picked up from google.co.uk

Q2. if i have a intro page before the main shop index page. and i optimise it with all the keywords and descriptions with hidden links and body text would that be enough to get picked up by google or would it be better to remove the intro page totally and let the the oscommerce index page be the first to be displayed.

i will have to pay to have the domain name changed i just dont know if this is wise. i hope someone can shed some light on this matter
