Hi,
I'm from the Exalead team.
If you haven't seen our new website yet, go to www.exalead.com

I will try to give some answers to some of you but in fact if you have comments or suggestions, the best way is to use our very beautiful feedback platform and enter in the Exalead community:
feedback.exalead.com

You can also add your site:
www.exalead.com/search/?definition=submitYourSitePage

And even add a searchbox to your site:
www.exalead.com/search/?definition=gadgetsPage

Bye!

You need to bring in some geo targeting if you are going to compete with the big three.

I am in the UK and dont want worldwide results on most of my searches so I use google.co.uk and the option to search the UK most of the time.

Plus you want my email address to give you feedback?

What do you mean by "your algorithm is wonky?" Which part of it exactly? It's a big search engine with more than 8 billion of pages.

It's based on a entirely internal solution, not on existing technologies.

We are still at the beginning "of the story", comparing to others it's true, but we are always looking for improvement, that's why we listen our users feedbacks and even if, for now, you consider our algorithm as "wonky" you could help us improve it by submitting your feedback or letting me know about what you think exactly, what we could improve, in a private message if you prefer. Every feedback, good or not, is important to us.

I think is quite nice wink
That's because I can have that small page preview picture.
So if i'm looking for some site when I don't remember its url or name that picture is really helpful.
And the results are quite ok.

Is this my problem...?

I have tried to submit a site but when the page loads the textboxes are disappearing...But when I hit the Submit button they become visible.

What's going on out there?

I think it was just a browser problem...Now everything it's in its place.
I'm using IE7 and I think that Microsoft still have some problem with this browser.

Interesting site. I don't know very much technical info about search engines so I can't give you much feedback there, but the site I work for seems to come up on your search engine for many of the same searches as on google. We are in your results much more than we are on yahoo. It looks like you have about 50,000 of our pages indexed. Google has about 115,000. I'll continue to check our results on it.

Good luck!

So roughly 1 out of every 160,000 pages you have indexed is from my site... smile
