Hi
I am wondering how much useful is to post links in social bookmarks as delicious or in social faqs like linktaker in order to be indexed by search engines.
Also I have saw that many people use facebook to post links. I think its cool if they are relevant (ie for a facebook group) but I wonder if a SE do index job on them?

I'm currently exploring this line of thinking and have gotten some traffic, though nothing terribly qualified. It's probably good for the backlinks, though again, I'm experimenting with this.
All in all, you need a good site with good content, no matter what it is, and social bookmarking sites will help you figure out if people think your sites worth checking out.

Some places are decent at sending traffic, others much less so.
In the end, though, you'll need to do some testing to figure out if the traffic being sent actually converts for you.
I limit my time in social spaces simply because there are so many at it takes so much time away from other efforts.

Useful! They're the future of the Internet, the greatest thing since the WWW, and simply awesome!
Think of it this way: a traditional Web site is like a column in a local newspaper. Some have small readership; others larger; but few really huge.
Get "plugged-in" to the right Social Networking sites and put up a SEO-optimized, networked blog and you can take your "local column" to the equivalent of a syndicate deal with AP and UPI.
