Hello..........
This is not about a PPC engine, but I wonder if anyone has any experience with "Traffic Swarm" (www.trafficswarm.com/)
They are "free" which of course is great. You place a link on your home page, which encourages others to go to their site (basically a search engine)thru yours. However, I learned somewhere that there's no free lunch, plus who wants to send anyone away from their own web site?..... I never heard of Traffic Swarm. I can't quite figure out how they make their money, their claims are almost too good, the traffic hits they promise sound like a pyramid scheme.
Maybe it's "suspicious me" looking at gift horse. If anyone has some experience or recommendation on this I'd sure appreciate it.

This is a good question. I went to trafficswarm, but I could not figure out how it works. It looks like you earn credits by viewing a unique trafficswarm url created after you register. You can earn credits by referring other webmasters. Click on trafficswarm links and you will earn credits. I was thinking maybe they are an affiliate of a pay per click search engine and displayed their results, but I could not find any links to confirm this theory. It does not look like you can pay for credits.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but I found this thread in a Search Engine and wanted to add my 2 cents on Traffic Swarm.
I have had success with the program BUT here's why:
You earn the most credits (i.e. link displays) when you recruit someone to the program. Generally people that have websites targeted to other webmasters (like I do) have an easier time recruiting others.
Now TS does give you the opportunity to earn credits by performing other activites but it's easiest to rack them up by referring other members. And if you don't have the kind of site that can recruit other people to join, you may find it a waste of time.
I promote Traffic Swarm on my website but with a big DISCLAIMER that explains why some people never have any success with these types of programs.
I'm using Traffic Swarm to promote some Commission Junction links (since you can track your links with CJ) and I was surprised when I logged into my CJ account and saw that I earned over $100 last month in commissions from PowWeb web hosting. All sales came from the Traffic Swarm link.
So I think it can work...especially if you have a site geared toward webmasters...but I wouldn't recommend it for most sites.

traffic swarm is a traffic exchange program. Traffic exchange program's are mostly used to get leads or to promote online mlm's, safelist and other tools to make money with online mlm. It's a totaly different world than SE's.
