I'm looking to start PPC for my site and am just curious to hear any success stories/horror stories people have. I've heard Google Adwords provides the best results, but that FindWhat could be more cost effective. Any advice?

Cost effective??
Let's see:
If you spend $1 per click with google adwords for 100 clicks and generated 2 sale that earned you $150 ($75 per sale) profit.
And ....
If you spend $0.10 per click with findwhat for 1,000 clicks and generated NO (Zero, 0) sale..
Which one is Cost effective??

AdWords might be more expensive, but the quality of clicks is higher because they work against click fraud more than the smaller engines, IMO.
