Hi Guys,
Possible great news for me but before i start jumping for joy i want to make sure i have this right ... almost to good to be true!
Ok this is the situation ...
I set up a web site 18 months ago ... i have been doing all online seo from day one.
Every few months i look at overture and use there Keyword Assistant tool to decide which terms i want to seo on.
I have had good results ... hitting page 1/2 for most of my key words and we get a good ammount of traffic.
I have just performed a new search on overture (i use the same search phrase everytime) and it returned the results of May06.
To my amazement it seems people are now searching on my web site ... ??? to the sum of 85k searches in may06 ???
This makes this search the 11th most popular in my industry.
Can this be correct ?
So my question is ....
1) Is there another tool out there like the overture Keyword Assistant that will allow me to enter a search phrase and return the most popular related searches to it?
2) Is there a way of gettin the search phrases for previous months from overture? for like jan, feb, mar, apr 2006 ???
Thanks in advance

I am not aware of any free tools to view previous months but there are a few paid solutions to do that. If there are 85k searches on your company name either you're in a really popular industry, the phrase means something you're not aware of (do a search to find out) or there could be a bot or some other automated function running up the search phrase.
