HI all,
Can any one explain me how to optimize hindi sites? In India we dont have any tools to find hindi search keywords, also no one will type Hindi in SE's.
can anyone explain clearly how to do seo for this type of sites...

It is same as you do in english. You have to do keyword research.

That's a main problem. But you can still do keyword research. Talk with people. They will tell you how they search.

How do you know? Have you done any research on it?
Fact:

People search for hindi and other words if they (words) are unique. Example: "Misal Pav"
It's a Maharashtrian dish.
People use words that they use while talking as their keywords to search. So you need to think from your visitors point of view and NOT from search engine point of view.

another way ask your visitors or your newsletter subscribers
- social networking web sites and bookmarking and try to get informations about "TAGS" used by people and collect them.

hi, Thanks for your answers,
What I am looking now is for my Hindi Site, do i need to write SEO tags in HINDI (in english words) like Misal Pav or in HINDI language? for one or 2 pages i can write SEO tags manually but for more dynamically generated pages, how to go ahead with the tags?
Which will help me to get relevant traffic & ranks?
