On one of my websites I publish a weekly article about my line of business. After releasing my article on my site, I also submit it to article websites from distribution. My question is should I be concerned aout duplicate contenet issues. If so, should I either submit my articles or just post them on my site.

The other sites may well rank higher for the same content than you. Is it very time sensitive stuff? Do you have to distribute it to other sites immediately you publish it on your site? There can be problems if Google finds the content on the other sites before it finds it on your site.

Once I saw duplicate content for something I came up with first, that was outranking my page. An email to Google seemed to clear it up. At any rate, it became cleared up after the email, in which I was very droll and self-depreciating and the opposite of uppity. I like to think they fixed it, and as I say, it was broken before I mailed them.
