Hi, every body i have very special problem as i want to track what is click through rate of various links on my site as

http://www.domainname.com.

I have discussed the same issue with my development team they suggest some code for the same after that code my url is changed as
domainname.com/real-estate?linkid=topreal
primarly it was
domainname.com/real-estate

so doing this it will affect google cache and if new url will get cached then duplicate content issue is there.

I am afraid of by doing this it affect my ranking so please suggest me some way to do the same.

Is There any paid tool which help me finding the same as i am using google analytics. As in analytics there is content link and there is site overlay but it is not accurate so please help.

Please help me sir

To your development team:

Are you nuts? Why are you f***ing your client website?

tomhoadley,

You shouldn't change your URL (domainname.com/real-estate). These types of URLs are good for your website indexing and ranking.

just install an analytics module, such as google analytics. It'll give you the what you want and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Developers... they amaze me.

You can do what freeflyer said. But first check your hosting control panel for web stats. You may find something as per your needs.
