Hi smile

I first do a site review as I would if I were a visitor to the site that found it via a SE or a link some where else.

When I first went into your site, I was rather clueless what it was to "do" for me. I seen blog right away and was thinking it is a blog type site. Then I see these categories, none of which really helps me out. Humor, Money? So scrolling down, I do see great bits of information posted. All of which are very helpful and interesting.

Now of course as someone who know to read your tags I knew it was a financial site for Indian. However many people don't read these, and often would not have taken the time to look around and see what the site is really about.

My point - great front page - needs reorganized and intent/purpose made more clear right away.

From a SEO view - your index page is not bad, not great but not bad. I think you could do better. Your keywords and description tags should match your content to a degree.

Not like a copy , paste but within the same subject areas. Yours are hit and miss.

Your title tag is the same on each page I viewed and none of those pages ( other then index.htm ) have a description tag. That is the tag SE show in the search results.

Keywords - I noticed those too were missing from your other pages. That is a subject that many debate. To have a keyword tag or not. It changes from person to person and time to time. I go with the thought of, it can't hurt, so add it.

Your information ( as I said before ) is very good, you need a more clear site intent and some tag help smile

I really like the logo!

I do think, however that the homepage is a bit crowded and may cause confusion, frustration, and then the user bounces.

Additionally, It appears you are focusing too many keywords in your title tag. SEO best practices say no more than 3 - 4 keyaord phrase focus per page.

Hope this helps!

I won't repeat other comments which I'd agree with. One thing that might help the user is a statement at the top telling the user whether it's relevent to them. For example "orangepaper.com is a portal offering financial advice to financial advisers/ anyone looking to invest for the first time/ seasoned investors"...delete as appropriate!

I'd also suggest using the categories as a lefthand navigation as this seems to be where users expect to navigate from or perhaps these could be incorporated in the top navigation and put things like Privacy as a global footer navigation.

Love the use of white space, the way the navigation highlights (realy clear!) and decent sized fonts.

Cheers, J
