***I stopped being active due to time constraints long before any of this happened but it is sad to see all that hard work (not just mine but everyones) pretty much go down the drain there.***
Crash,
That is exactly how I and many others felt when we saw all the work we did at GoGuides disappear into thin air a while back. It was shocking indeed! [edited to keep thread on track]

Why do I get the feeling that GoGuides is dead, they just don't know it yet?

oi.. this is not the place to air in-house or legal problems guys..
As a webmaster community here we should really focus on what is helpful to site owners.
Most of us are very confused about goguides (editor or no) and simply wish to know if it is continuing to be worthwhile etc.

Agreed...there has been useful information in this thread, but there's also been a bit of mud-slinging.
Please keep the personal grievances and mentions of legal issues out of it and leave this converstion to facts or clearly stated opinions.

Go Guides is up and running. However, according to its "submit URL" form, you have to pay for inclusion ($39.95) or become an editor.

I'll save my money and submit at Skaffe.com (No offense GoGuides, just don't see you as a good investment anymore)!

St0n3y,
In case you missed it, GoGuides has their free submit option running. Won't cost you a cent to get listed for at least a few days. That sounds like a good investment to me!!
