Name of Site/Business: Oasis Fanatic
Site's Main Purpose: Fun/Leisure
Please Review the following:
Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?
Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?
Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?
Appearance/Attractiveness
Additional Comments/Notes
Hello everyone,
I am the webmaster of Oasis Fanatic. A community site I created to connect Oasis fans around the world with forums, reviews, sharing of photos and more.
I need your help in criticising and helping me see the "blind spots" on my approach to affiliate marketing on my community site. And also anything that you think needs improvements.
Affiliate Number #1 - eil.com - Rare music CDs and memorabilia
I created an IFRAME and embedded my affiliate link at this web page www.OasisMusicShop.com That's actually a redirect to another landing page on
www.OasisFanatic.com I believe its much easier to tell someone to go to www.OasisMusicShop.com than to go to www.OasisFanatic.com/Shop/.....
If you get what I mean.
Affiliate Number #2 - MediaPlazza - Mobile Ringtone, colour logos, wallpapers etc
I customized the "skin" of this affiliate program to integrate seemlessly into my web site's design template. Again, I purchased another domain pointer at www.OasisRingTones.com
********
I just launched both of these affiliate programs on my web site yesterday and of course still ZERO sales at the moment.
Anyway, if you were the webmaster of my web site, How would you have done it differently? What are some improvements I can make to do this? Am I committing any serious blunder here?
I look forward to your feedback! Fire at will!

A nice site well presented
White on dark grey is cool, but the visited links are dimmed making it difficult to see, which means you've lost the effect the orange had on the link. Try altering your CSS to keep it orange.
There is 2 news features, IMHO, it maybe better to have one news box and move the 'Oasis Fanatic Shops' to the top, either left or right, as it's kinda hidden away at the bottom.

thanks for the feedback about the shops bit... yeah makes more sense to put it at the top for all to see.
