what do you all think of the dance so far? It seems really static, more like a foot tap than a dance to me. smile

Not Static for me. I have had some pleasant suprises, even gaining #1 for an important keyword for me and #7 on another one for a two month old web site. These are highly competetive terms and I though it would take 4-6 months just to get into the top ten. Don't ask me how I did it. I am disappointed that I didn't get some web pages done in time for the deep crawl of my site. The above pages have a PR5 and the ones I didn't get finished in time, PR0. Oh well, lets keep on trucking.

Its a start. The site we were really looking at went from 78th to 28th. I was very pleased, but the client was not terribly happy. 28th out of 1.8 million sites for a competitive single word keyphrase is pretty good to me.

Next month it will be top 10, and I will be invincible!

My links on my main site that I'm working on has went from 42 to 390, but I'm still at the same PR of 5, but my deeper pages have increased from 3 to 4. I havn't noticed changes in my keywood rankings though, I'm still #2 on my main keyword with my main competiting site.

I'm trying to figure out if the PR toolbar updates itself and when.....

Things are slow this time. I am thrilled with the results though.

I only went up two places on one term which has left me on the cusp of page 2 sad
I was really hoping to make it to the first page, close but no cigar I guess...

It seems like all the front page results are virtually unchanged on the terms I'm watching, maybe something really drastic is still to come smile

Is google dancing?
I don't see any dance from www.google.com to www3.google.com: always the same results.
But when I look at the ranking (on www.google.com) it changes every now and then.
Does it mean google is dancing on another wwwX.google.com??

Have you guys been by the "ihelpyou" forum? Man those people couldn't buy a clue... and what is up with all of those goofy pictures? The administrator looks like a used car salesman... If you are looking for paid SEO, run away from that place...

Just my opinion... something about that site made me what to punch the wall... oh well...

so far so good, looks like we might move into the number one spot for our top search term. i've been after the number one guy for a year now and it looks like we may have it. not sure how long he has had it but i'm guessing for a number of years. now, if we are lucky enough to still have it when the dance is done, how do we keep it? tweak it here and there or don't touch it?

How Can I keep track of my search phrases?
to check if my rank has changed.. and from which rank?

I need more info to know how to continue maintain my google's ranking.
and making it better as time goes by.
