Hi all. Hope everyone is doing good here! I have a quick question about CTR for a campaign. Is 8.1% CTR good or bad? Please let me know your thoughts. T-y

A high CTR doesn't mean anything unless it converts to sales. Which do you prefer - 10% CTR with no sales or 1% CTR with 10 sales?

8.1% CTR is a very good rate. If 8 out of 100 people are clicking on an ad, that ad has some real pulling power. Of course, as internetguy pointed out, in the end what matters is the conversion rate--of those 8 out of 100 people, how many are buying something?

I would agree. 8.1% is teriffic... probably. If you use a VERY targetted uncompetitive Phrase like "blue widgets with red stripe" Then you would expect a high CTR, maybe as high as 30-50% with very few impressions. (I have seen some with as high as 88% CTR, but only 1, maybe 2 impressions a day) If you term is less targetted like "widgets" then your CTR would be much lower.
So the question is, how targetted is the phrase? In most cases though, if you have any competition for the keyword, 8.1% is excellent.
