I'm seeing a new Google look. There are no tabs. The directory link is gone. And the AdWords ads are no longer in little boxes.

What happens to advertisers?
Have adwords advertisers been told of this yet?

Also, all this controversy about google FORCING people to use adwords due to florida, i'd like to see some of these people giving their comments on google's plans, maybe they're realeasing a new, more expensive pricing scheme to make more money, since they've got alot more paid advertisers signed up (sarcastic) hahaha

more clicks for pure search

I am finding it harder to read... the colours don't seem right and the bolding of the search term in the URL is making it cluttered looking.

The bold text of keywords in the URL, does this suggest that keyword intensice URLs have an SEo advantage.

THe directory seems irrelevant now, any thought?

{Eirik - warnings are only seen by yourself and staff}

rossendryv - if the url is included in scoring it could have a very small weight or even a detrimental one, the fact that it is bolded is not necessarily an indication of a change in algo for the area or that it is either good or bad to have keywords in the URL... I believe that meaningful file names are a good thing and are considered along with a great many other things...

They have previously been trialling this look for a couple of months, from time to time, on one specific datacentre. It has been reported a few times now and again.

Looks like they have now rolled it out to all .com servers. I haven't checked if all the (nearly 80) specific country domains, like google.je, google.gg, google.nl etc, have it too.

seeing it in .au (but no froogle link of course)
I like the old colours and layout better, much more simple. This is seeming to my eye to be "wishy-washy".

I agree with excell, What made Google popular besides relevant search was a clean and simply interface with no Adwords.
